Cortvriend is a committed public servant
I have had the pleasure of interacting with Terri Cortvriend regularly during her first two years as a State Representative for District 72 and enthusiastically support her candidacy for reelection.
She is a committed public servant who always seeks out different points of view so she can represent the best interest of her constituents. She is a strong advocate for Portsmouth, Middletown, and all of Aquidneck Island, on issues ranging from coastal resilience to economic development and public education. Terri represents the change we desperately need on Smith Hill — so we can finally take meaningful steps to protect our environment, support families, care for our most vulnerable, and help Rhode Island businesses survive during very uncertain times.
Terri is exactly the kind of Democrat that I believe will best represent me and my family. We do not need another “good old boy” to join the Speaker’s club, who has had the Rhode Island Democratic Party in a choke hold for decades. Residents of Portsmouth and Middletown will have the opportunity to show state party leaders who the best candidate to represent our district is by reelecting a true Democrat, who stands for the values we hold near and dear to our hearts.
Terri will have my vote on September 8th and November 3rd — she is the best candidate to represent District 72, and I urge you to support her as well.
